You will get to explore the two contrasting personas of Delhi - Old and New Delhi, with their distinct characters. After Delhi, embark upon your journey to the most romantic monument and symbol of eternal love, the biggest homage made by a lover to his beloved - The TAJ MAHAL. On the way from Agra to Jaipur, stop and explore the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, established under the great Mughal Emperor Akbar, but deserted due to lack of water. The next stop will be to see the Fort of Amber near Jaipur, to be followed by a day of discovery in the Pink City, full of festive colors and local street markets

CULTURE ASPECTS:

Expect some culture shock. You'll be exposed to signs of poverty and access to services may be sporadic. The food will be quite different from home and English speakers harder to find. Respecting the local culture will make it easier to fit in and really experience the location.

 

DAY TO DAY ITINERARY:

 

Day 01 - Delhi

Arrive Delhi. Meet and greet at the international airport. Transport to the pre-booked hotel by our tour representative. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

 

Day 02 - Delhi – Agra (Drive 223Kms. Approx. 5 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast proceeds for sightseeing of New Delhi: Red Fort, Jama Masjid, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple, and LotusTemple driving past the Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Rajpath. Drive towards Agra in the afternoon. At Agra, check-in to the pre-booked hotel and relax. Overnight stay.

 

Day 03 - Agra – Jaipur (Drive 163kms Approx. 3 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Enroute stop at Fatehpur Sikri – a historical town built by Akbar. See the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world, Jama Masjid and the tomb of famous Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. Continue to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in to the pre-booked hotel and freshen up. Later drive around the city, see the exquisite forts and palaces and visit the Bazaar, etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 04 - Jaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Later visit Amber Fort and take a ride on an elephant. Go on for a city tour in the afternoon and visit places like City Palace – divided into a series of courtyards, gardens, buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, Royal Observatory and Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 05 - Jaipur – Delhi (Drive 265kms Approx. 5 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Delhi. Upon arrival check in to the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay.

 

Day 06 - Delhi

As per your flight timing leave the hotel and drive to the international airport to board a flight for departure. Tour ends.
